BOBA RUN Website Redesign

Project Type: Visual Design assignment | Role: UI/UX Designer | Timeframe: 2 Weeks
This project is dedicated to rethinking the BOBA RUN brand’s style, image, and web experience to strengthen its identity. It explores the brand’s visual and experiential challenges, providing a clear roadmap for future updates to help BOBA RUN stand out in the bubble tea market.

Sip the Difference
BOBA RUN was created to offer a fresh take on bubble tea, focusing on healthier,
high-quality ingredients. Unlike traditional shops, they use organic milk or dairy alternatives and house-made syrups from real fruits and organic cane sugar. Their mission is simple: provide a wholesome and unique bubble tea experience for both newcomers and enthusiasts.
Enhancing the User Experience
While BOBA RUN stands out in the bubble tea market for its commitment to healthier, high-quality ingredients, its website could further enhance the customer experience by implementing a few strategic improvements.
Problems that the original site has:

Lack of Visual Emphasis on Unique Selling Points
Although the brand emphasizes natural and low-calorie ingredients, this distinctive feature is not visually prominent on the website. This missed opportunity could lead to a lack of differentiation from other bubble tea brands.
Monotonous Color Scheme
The current color palette lacks variety, making the website feel somewhat bland and harder for users to remember.
Minimal Storytelling Elements
The brand story and passion for quality ingredients are only briefly described in text. Enhanced storytelling through visuals and structured content could strengthen the brand’s connection with visitors.
Here are some areas for improvement:
Visual Storytelling
Use high-quality images and videos to visually showcase the preparation of drinks using natural ingredients. This can highlight the freshness and quality of the offerings.
Ingredient Transparency
Create a dedicated section detailing the source and benefits of the ingredients used. This can include information on using natural ingredients.
Interactive Elements
Incorporate interactive features, such as drink customization options where users can select ingredients or flavors.
User Reviews & Testimonials
Include a section for customer reviews and testimonials to build trust and community around the brand.
Recipe Blog or Tips
Introduce a blog or tips section that shares recipes, health benefits of ingredients, or fun facts about bubble tea.
Prominent Call-to-Action
Ensure clear and inviting call-to-action buttons for ordering, menu exploration, or joining a mailing list. These should be strategically placed to drive customer engagement.
Site Map
Simplify the User Journey: Make it easy for visitors to take action, whether it’s exploring the menu, placing an order, or joining the community, for a seamless user experience.

Wireframes
While working on the intermediate stage of the middle-fidelity model, suddenly felt that the homepage structure was too monotonous, so I wanted to highlight the brand's sophistication using dynamic methods (the banner has a switchable door, Topping can be scrolled, and when touched, the background of popular products displays exquisite images of raw materials).
I simplified the beverage category pages, presenting different types of beverages in a one-page style through scrolling to increase interest.
